About Us

Hi, I’m Ghulam Sarwar

I write about glass.

Not in a complicated way. Not with unnecessary jargon or filler paragraphs that waste your time. Just clear, useful information about things that matter in the glass and construction industry — written by someone who has spent more than 12 years working in it.

This blog, sarwarcontent.com, exists because of one simple belief: good writing does not need to be complicated. It just needs to make sense.

Who I Am

I am a glass industry professional based in Kolkata, West Bengal. I run GSYS Glassworks, an architectural glass installation and supply business serving Eastern India — covering West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Assam.

Over the past 12 years I have worked on everything from frameless glass partitions and shower enclosures to patch fitting installations, floor spring doors, ACP cladding, and toughened glass supply. I understand IS 14900 standards, SS 304 and SS 316 hardware specifications, and what it actually takes to install a glass system correctly — not from reading about it, but from doing it.

That background is what makes sarwarcontent.com different from most blogs in this space.

What This Blog Is About

sarwarcontent.com covers:

  • Glass partitions — frameless systems, framed partitions, office and residential applications
  • Shower enclosures and shower cubicles — design, glass types, hardware, installation considerations
  • Patch fittings and floor springs — how they work, how to choose the right specification, what to watch out for
  • Glass hardware — hinges, handles, clamps, channels, and the details that make or break a glass installation
  • Content writing — how I write, what I have learned, and what actually works when writing about a technical niche

Every article on this blog is written with three things in mind: clear language, useful information, and a structure that is easy to read. No padding. No repetition. No content written just to fill a word count.

Why I Started Writing

I started sarwarcontent.com for three reasons.

First, I noticed that most online content about glass and construction hardware in India was either too generic, technically wrong, or written by people who had never held a patch fitting in their hands. I wanted to change that — even if in a small way.

Second, writing helps me think. When I explain something clearly in an article, I understand it better myself. This blog is part of how I continue learning after 12 years in the industry.

Third, I believe in documenting the journey openly and honestly. Not just the polished results, but the process — what I tried, what worked, what I got wrong, and what I would do differently. If that helps even one contractor, installer, or business owner make a better decision, the article was worth writing.

What You Will Find Here

Every post on sarwarcontent.com is written to be genuinely useful. You will find:

  • Honest price guides with real figures, not vague ranges
  • Technical explanations written in plain language, not industry speak
  • Practical advice based on real project experience
  • Transparent insights into content writing, SEO, and how I build this blog

What you will not find here is content written to impress search engines at the expense of the reader. If an article does not make sense to a real person reading it, it does not belong on this blog.

A Note on Content Writing

Alongside my work in the glass industry, I also write SEO content for construction, glass, and architecture businesses across India through sarwarcontent.com.

After 12 years of working in this field I understand the technical language, the buyer questions, the regional market differences, and the kind of content that actually earns trust from industry customers. If you are a business in this space looking for a content writer who genuinely understands your product, feel free to get in touch.
